Trip Information

WHAT TO BRING

The weather varies a great deal from the beginning to the end of the season. It’s a good idea to bring several layers of clothing so you can easily adjust to the changes. A good pair of comfortable boots is the highest priority. Waterproof, insulated boots are advised for November, December and January hunts. For big game hunts, bring a sleeping bag, warm coat and pants and your personal toiletries. Additional necessities are guns, shells and an ice chest. You may also want to include gloves, hat, rain gear, camera, and binoculars. A more detailed gear list will be sent when hunts are booked.

TRANSPORTATION

All trips will begin and end in Willow Creek, Oregon, located 12 miles north of Vale on Highway 26 heading toward John Day. It is a two hour drive from the nearest large airport in Boise, Idaho where rental cars are available.
